Question about Work Flow of contracts

Postby goairwire » Wed Dec 17, 2008 1:00 am

Hi SiT!

I have a question about a work flow aspect. Our company works like this:

We have customers we visit each week on-site. They purchase (via contract) a specified amount of hours each month from us. For Example Acme Company purchases 10 Hours a month from us. We ensure that we use those 10 hours somewhere and quite often we will go over. So we need something that will account for the (units) in hours so to speak and be able to run a report that shows we've used 10 hours of contract time, but went over by 3 hours. Or, just simply show us the amount of hours spent on a company each month. It looks as if your software can achieve this or already is but I don't quite get the work flow of it yet. (Correct me if I'm wrong) So, with that said, is there documentation that more clearly defines how I could do this? Or is there a concept I am missing somewhere. Thanks again, I love this software so far and eager to see how far it can go)

Hi Chris,

Yes it can do this, unfortunately there's no documentation at all for any of the billing features at the moment.

if anybody reading this feels they can help with documentation please speak up, we could really use some help.

I'll try and find some time over the next few days so keep checking the wiki.

Cheers,

Ivan
