Holding queue visible to users: how?

Postby gdavidvlk » Tue Nov 18, 2008 2:12 pm

An useful tool is the overview of unassigned incidents. This i useful to let users take the ownership of an incident if it deals with some problem they're able to solve.
I can't find a way to let simple users access to the Holding Queue (only managers and admin can) ?
In SiT Role Permissions I can't find this option.
In SiT Role Permissions I can't find this option ...
I tried changing $permission = 42 to $permission = 6 in the module incidents.php but the entry "Holding Queue" in "support" menu is still disabled.

Can anybody help me in setting Holding Queue accessible to simple users
Thanks

Hi,

You're nearly there, the permission is permission number 42. It's a badly named one, it's called "Review/Delete Incident updates"

If you add this permission to the user or to the role they should be able to access the holding queue once they've logged in with a new session.

Cheers,
