SiT! experiences

Postby txapeldot » Wed Jul 08, 2015 3:04 pm

Hi everybody:

In our organization we need to set up a helpdesk solution and, after a deep search on the web, i've decided that giving a try to an open source tool like SiT! could be a good option. However, I have to admit that the fact that the last current stable version of SiT! dates from mid August 2012 is something that worries me a bit. It seems that there has no been much work from then.

That's why I'd really appreciate if someone having already tested and used SiT! could share his/her experience with this helpdesk tool.

Thank you very much in advance.

The current version of SiT is stable, and while there has been no new version of the 3.x branch in quite a while, we're working on 4.x behind the scenes.
due to RL it's not progressing as fast as we've hoped.
If you have a problem, give us enough info of what you have done, what is configured in relation to your question.
Enable debugging and post it's censored but relevant info. Don't forget to write which version of SiT you're running.
