Editing Incidents

Engineers can edit certain data associated with an incident after it has been logged without having to add an update.
  • Title
  • Tags
  • Contact (& Site)
  • Skill
  • Version
  • Service Packs
  • CC Email
  • Escalation
    • External ID
    • External Engineers Name
    • External Email

To edit an incident, open the incident popup window by clicking on the title of the incident in the queue and select Edit from the menu.

Changing Product or Contract

After an incident has created it is not possible to change the product or contract, although it is possible to change the skill and the contact. If a change of product or contract is required the incident should be closed and a new one opened.
