Manage dashboard components.
From here you can enable or disable dashboard components, or even install/upgrade new ones. Components that allready has been installed, cannot be deleted.
The dashboard is your "desktop" when you log on as a user or have higher privileges.
Go to Manage Dashboard Components : SiT | Control Panel | Manage Dashboard Components
SiT comes with a few very useful dashboard components:
- random_tip - this does exactly what the name tells. gives a random tip
- statistics - shows some statistics, how many incidents are open, closed, updated and logged today, and how many KB articles have been added today.
- tasks - shows the current users tasks.
- user_incidents - shows the current users' open incidents.
- watch_incidents - here the current user can setup to watch some incidents, eg a case she wants to follow in, that is not her own.
- rss - is a rss client you can configure to pull feeds from a rss host (eg news on the internet).
- incomming - shows a list of mails in the holding queue.
- tags - shows tags from the tag cloud.
- holidays - shows who is away today.
