Overview
In SiT users are people who can log into the main SiT interface and are often referred to within SiT as 'Engineers' (also known as Operators, Technicians or Agents), users are different from contacts who can only log into the SiT portal.
Administrators can manage users by selecting SiT! | Control Panel | Users | Manage Users
User Profile
Each user has a User Profile which is a store of information about the user along with preferences and settings relating to that user.
To edit your user profile navigate to SiT! | My Details | My Profile
Administrators can edit the user profile of any user by navigating to SiT! | Control Panel | Users | Manage Users and clicking the name the user profile to edit.
Set Show Emoticons to replace any text emoticons (e.g. :-)) in the updates log with graphics showing emoticon faces.
